Audioflow Installation Notes

This manual section contains important information about installing Audioflow.

Note

Currently, the following steps must be performed manually to get Audioflow running. In a later version of the Audioflow installer, these steps should be automatically done by the installer.

Installing FMOD in Audioflow

Audioflow requires FMOD .DLLs. After installing Audioflow, you need to do the following:

  • Download and install FMOD Ex Programmers API (Windows 32bit). This version is also compatible with Windows 64 bit (and the 64 bit release is not compatible with Audioflow).

  • Copy the following files from the FMOD installation - normally located in "C:\Program Files\FMOD SoundSystem\FMOD Programmers API Win32":

     
    "api\fmodex.dll"
    "tools\fsbanklib\fsbanklibex.dll"
    "tools\libmp3lame.dll"
    

    Into the Audioflow Composer installation directory - normally located here:

     
    "c:\Program Files\Audioflow\composer"
    

Installing Audioflow in Unity

  • Copy the following files from the FMOD installation - normally located in "C:\Program Files\FMOD SoundSystem\FMOD Programmers API Win32":

     
    "api\fmodex.dll"
    "tools\fsbanklib\fsbanklibex.dll"
    

    Into the Unity installation directory - normally located here:

     
    "C:\Program Files\Unity\Editor"
    
  • Copy the following files from the Audioflow installation - normally located in "C:\Program Files\Audioflow":

     
    "lib\audioflow.dll"
    "lib\AudioflowCSharp.dll"
    

    Into the Unity installation directory:

     
    "c:\Program Files\Unity\Editor"
